The Texas LOEX Committee, with the support of the LOEX Conference
director, has reserved one PAID registration for a librarian or library
school student who is a member of an under-represented minority group
and/or who has done significant work to bring library services or
information literacy opportunities to minorities. The scholarship will
include a travel/lodging stipend of $250. Any additional
conference-related expenses are the responsibility of the recipient.

for fewer than five years, and whose information literacy interests include
outreach to underserved minority populations.
To apply, please send:
- A current CV, including number of years in the profession
- A 500-word essay
describing your interest in Information Literacy Services

The recipient will be notified by email and announced on the LOEX 2011 Conference website by January 29, 2011.
