The LOEX
2009 program planning committee is pleased to offer a pre-conference tour of
the .
Their mission is to "preserve and perpetuate Pueblo culture and to advance
understanding by presenting with dignity and respect, the accomplishments and
evolving history of the Pueblo people of New Mexico." The IndianPuebloCulturalCenter
offers a museum, a restaurant, and an extensive gift shop. We have arranged a
group tour of the museum. The museum will cost $4 per person if we have 10 or
more participants and $6 if we do not, so bring cash.
A bus that can seat up to 48 people will depart from the Hyatt Regency main
entrance on Tijeras shortly after 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 30, 2009 and
return to the hotel, arriving no later than 4:00 pm. There is no charge for the
bus.
Please let us know in advance if you plan to participate by sending an e-mail
to attendees2009@loexconference.org.
If you can not commit ahead of time, you also can just show up at the Hyatt
entrance by 2:00pm - we'll be happy to have you assuming there is still room on
the bus.
